Welcome to Term 4 2024
The sun is winking at us from behind the winter clouds and there is a distinct aroma of jasmine in the air- Spring has sprung! Welcome back to 'Yarra' as we commence the final term of the 2024 academic year.
Our Grade 6 students are busy preparing for their transition to high school traditions and ceremonies. Students will be selling icy-poles in November to raise funds for their events. Look out for a 'spooky' bake sale coming soon too! Our newest Prep 2025 students also begin their transition program on October 15 with Art and Literacy lessons.
The whole school shortly begins rehearsals for our Annual End of Year Concert to be held on Friday December 13.
Construction on the modernisation to our historic school buildings has (finally) commenced. Given the delays it is now full steam ahead. Construction is forecast for completion by Semester 2, 2025. In the meantime students and staff have shown their strengths of Perseverance and Prudence as they settle in to their portable classrooms.
