What is your child naturally good at? Maths? Writing? Sports? Caring for their friends? We all have talents that help us stand out and succeed. So, doesn't it make sense for schools to recognise and utilise students' talents rather than overly focussing on their deficits?
Yarra Primary has been recognised as an Influence School by the Department of Education.
Spring has sprung and we are energised for an action-packed term four. We have our Sports Carnival in October and continue with our swimming intensives. Years 3 and 4 have their annual camp in December and the juniors are excited for their traditional school sleepover!
The goals of Visible Wellbeing are to support students and staff to see, hear and feel wellbeing. Developing on from this, students and staff are provided with lessons and practices to build and strengthen their own and others' wellbeing.
TeamKids- Term 4 Activities are up. What a fun summer it's going to be!
