‘Numeracy in the Early Years’

What the children will be doing
Your child will be involved in some literacy and art based activities with the Prep teachers. 

What the parents will be doing
Mrs Valetta McDonald will speak to you about what you can do to get your child ready and interested for Numeracy in the early years.

Friday 6th November | 10.00-11.00

‘Literacy in the Early Years’

What the children will be doing
Your child will be introduced to our PMP Program (Perceptual Motor Program) where they will undertake skill based activities focusing on body awareness. 

What the parents will be doing
Ms Jennie Ryan will speak to you about what you can do to get your child ready and excited for Literacy in the early years.

Thursday 12th November | 12.30-1.30

‘Meet the Prep teachers’

What the children will be doing
Betty our talented Greek teacher and Emily our amazing classroom teacher will be running some Greek activities. 

What the parents will be doing
Caroline and Skylah (Prep teachers) will speak with you about our fantastic Prep Program and answer any questions you have.

Wednesday 18th November  | 9.30-11.30

Orientation Session

What the children will be doing
Your children will meet with the Grade 6 students of 2010 and have a lovely morning getting to know each other and participating in many activities. This will be followed by morning tea.

What the parents will be doing
You will hear from the following speakers:

• Ms Zita Pinda (Educational Consultant) will speak with you about the importance of attendance and about our Bullying Policy
• There will be a Futsal demonstration (Mini Soccer)
• Deb our Office Manager will then speak to you regarding how the office works and how to order a school uniform
• Estee our YOSH (Yarra Out of School Hours Coordinator) will speak about the program
• Viewing of our production DVD
• Final Question and Answer session with Tracy (Principal) 
• Morning tea in Courtyard at 11.30
